Hello mates ! This year we have to make a very difficult decision, in fact AL Jabr just joined the comenius programme and we have to choose between three different cities : Bristol, Liverpool or Edinburgh. I personally prefer Bristol. The location factor didn't influence my choice because the three cities are all in the coastline and we need to take plane anyway. I think that we should definitely choose Bristol. First of all, many of us doesn't know anything about this beautiful city with its unique attractions and events. In fact Liverpool has been chose as the city of culture in 2008. The number of monuments in Liverpool is endless. By the way Liverpool has the largest collection of museums and galleries after London such as The Liverpool museum which is the first museum in UK dedicated to the history of a city. Furthermore Liverpool is known for being the birthplace of many popular musicians including the Beatles. It has a fascinating history as a great world maritime center and is has the europe's oldest chinatown. Furthermore, if we choose Liverpool we'll have the opportunity to Liverpool international music festival with some of the biggest names in music industry especially when you know that the city is the world capital of pop. Also, the central library would be interesting for our teachers and us. It is one of the largest public libraries in UK with collections built up over the last 150 years including rare handwritings and illustrations !
What's more we can visit beautiful cathedrals in Liverpool, as the old liverpool folk song say : "If you want a cathedral we've got one to spare ". Liverpool anglican cathedral in britain's biggest cathedral and took 74 years to be built ! And what about assisting one of Liverpool FC games at Anfield, the big stadium? I'm sure you'll like it, so choose Liverpool. It worth !
